RIGHT TO CANCEL
You have a legal right to cancel an order placed with us under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013, within the relevant periods set out below, unless specific exceptions apply.
This means that during the relevant period, if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not wish to receive or keep the furniture, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
RIGHT TO CANCEL – PRODUCTS
Your legal right to cancel an order for furniture starts from the date of the Order Confirmation. The deadline for cancelling your order ends 14 calendar days after you take physical possession of the furniture.
The cancellation right does not apply in the case of any made-to-measure or custom-made furniture, or furniture made to your specification or that is clearly personalised.
The cancellation right does not apply if the original packaging has been removed and/or the product has been assembled or used. In order to return and receive a refund, the goods must show no evidence of assembly and must be in their original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
RIGHT TO CANCEL – DELIVERY SERVICES
Your legal right to cancel a delivery service starts from the date of the Order Confirmation. The deadline for cancelling the delivery service is 14 calendar days after the date of the Order Confirmation.
The cancellation right does not apply if you request us to provide the delivery service during the cancellation period and the delivery is completed during this timeframe.
PROCESS TO CANCEL
To cancel an order, please contact us in writing by sending an email to hello@solidhomefurniture.co.uk. This will be your cancellation notification and your cancellation is effective from the date you sent the email.
Unless otherwise agreed with us, you will be responsible for returning the furniture to us within 14 days of cancelling your order.
All furniture will need to be returned in the original packaging. The cost of returning the cancelled furniture will be your responsibility.
You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the furniture and any applicable delivery charges.
We will process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 calendar days after the day we receive back the furniture or 14 calendar days after you provide evidence of having returned the furniture, whichever is earlier.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We may make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value of the furniture if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that the order details and delivery addresses are accurate. With regard to delivery, any sort of personal unavailability and/or parking restrictions should be clarified beforehand to eliminate unnecessary delays. In case there is no recipient at the delivery address, our supplier will return the goods to their respective warehouse facility and we reserve the right to recharge the customer for the delivery again.
Before the acceptance of final goods, it is the responsibility of the customer to visually inspect the packaging and the product to ensure everything is in perfect condition. In case of any damages incurred during the delivery process, it is mandatory for the customer to report the problem within 48 hours.
